Hey Duwyrussler or yob2kanobe

You guys gave me some gearing advise and you both seem knollegable. I was wondering if adding 1'' to 2" rear blocks would require taller shocks? Also, is a tuner something I would be able to use on my own. Keeping in mind that I have no mechanicle experiance at all. that being said, would the local 4by4 shop be able to tune my truck using their equipment? I could spend that $400.00 on my lift/blocks.

Thanks for your help
"by the way" nice truck yob2

Yo Scott,
Thanks, but I just keep most peeps fooled on most things.lol.
However since you asked, I really dont think and inch or two on the rear blocks will require taller shocks, however the stock shocks suck bad anyway IMO, so If I was you and had the $, Id invest in a set of the bilstiens. thas what I did on mine. Are you planning a lift on the front to match rear if you do?
The tuner is a no brainer, my kid could program my truck its so easy. The instructions and tuner LCD readout will walk you thru the process, so go for it. It is by far the best money you will spend on your truck. But no matter if you or a shop does the program it will still cost ya between $350-$400
I really like your wheels Scott, do you have the leveling kit yet? hard to tell with the truck at that angle.

Keep moddin!
Yob

Thanks again for the advise Billy, I plan on going with the 2.5 leveling kit and either a 1" or 2" block just to get an inexpensive lift. I will go with the 6" eventually but have a $2600.00 wheel/tire debt to pay off first. I'll take your advise on the tuner. What tuner would you recomend?

Have a great new year
Scott
