FX4 Rocks in the Snow!

A buddy of mine wanted to spend the weekend at his cottage (northern Ontario) and I volunteered to deliver him and his supplies. To get to it, you have to drive across a farmers field. There is a road there (about a mile long), but when we arrived it was covered in snow. I wasn't even sure where the road was.

I switched the truck to 4x4 and off we went. After about 100 yards I stopped to make sure we were going in the right direction. I opened the door and it pushed snow! I jumped out and it was over my knees! We kept on going and the truck had no problem. I was impressed.

I now enjoy winter!

The only good thing about the snow we just got here in
Southern Ontario is that I get to play in my FX4.
They truly are amazing trucks...

Sounds like one of those big fish stories...
I wish I had half of that to test mine. We got a light dusting the other day. If it's going to be 15 degrees...give me some frickin snow.

I love the 4X4 on these trucks... too bad the XLT Generals suck!

I too have been in Northern Ontario for the past few and have been in 4 by mode almost the whole time.

Snow? Whats that? hehe.. Umm My truck runs great in these 50 MPH winds and all this rain. I'll be making a trip up to the snow this weekend and I'll report back.

We just got a good bit of snow here in Southern Va, and I had so much fun with my truck. I would stick the back tires and then engage 4 wheel and pull myself out. It was a blast and I can't wait for more snow.

Must have been fine snow. Here we got snow/ice/rain/sleet all within 24 hours and it was a mess. There was about 16 inches in my grandfathers driveway and I could not make it all the way up the hill. Before next winter these generals will be upgraded to a BFG AT.
