Santa Strikes Again! This time a 1714!!!

Ok, not Santa.. .my gal and I exchanged our gifts today since we fly out Wednesday. In addition to the Bull Bar, I got a Superchips 1714 tuner!! And how nice my tank was on empty from out traveling yesterday... off to the gas station to fill with premium & install the performance tune... wow. This is what 300HP feels like. More oomph off the line, easier to bust the tires loose, crisp shifts that are NOT too harsh whatsoever and more intelligent shifting. If gas prices stay nice and low, I think I'm kissing 87 octane goodbye!!!

This tuner should be under everyone's tree!

Dunno about the superchips version, but with the Predator you don't lose a whole lot of performance going to the 87 octane tune. I'm sure the guys racing and clocking 1/4 mile times can tell the difference but under normal operations the 87 tune is more than enough for me.
Congrats and enjoy your new hot rod.

I know I already got my big gift for this Christmas but I do hope for the tuner to be next on the list. Glad to hear you got what you wanted and please use it wisely.

Nice gifts! I smell burning rubber already.

I guess that's a perk of being married? Not sure I'll run out and get married just yet though.

:santa: That’s a great Christmas gift. I’m using the 93-octane now but I ran the 87-octane for a few days to empty out the tank. They’re both killer.

Nice gifts

Who's going to be watching your truck while you're away?? Probably don't have to worry Detroit's a nice safe city.

Are you going some place warm, right now with the wind chill it's -20 degrees here in snowy VT.
