i installed an fx4 cluster in my red stx but the door chime and dome lights dont work i took it to ford and they were too stupid to figure out what needs to be done to get this thing programmed. they told me quote if you can get the programmming info we will do it for you geeze would you like me to program it too!!!!!!!! lol! if anyone knows EXACTLY what needs to be done or if you know of a dealer who knows there a*&*s from a hole in the ground let me know!!!!!!! tkjsmith@msn.com help please!!!

 

galpin ford and citrus ford here in Southern California do it for 85 bucks. Takes about 20 minutes. There is a 'hotline' for ford technicians to call on this type work. Call around your local dealerships till you find a service writer or technician who knows how to use the phone... May take several calls.
Our local shop swears you can't add the IP, or Cruise or anything else. When I showed him my dash and cruise he threw a fit. I left while he was still saying they were stock and I was lying about adding them.
Just keep calling till you find someone who cares to do the job.

thanks dude its just turning into a hassle dealers dont want to do much of anything. too bad im at the other end of the states in fl. or i would just take it to them!!!!
