Nice bass, Clem. Was that in FL? Looks to be about 10-11 lbs, a real trophy for sure. I find wild shiners are best for consistently catching trophy size bass.

2-4 lbs are the best eatin' size.

Clem,
Is that a 520 with a 225 optimax? Glad to know their are other fishermen on this board as well. Its funny seeing you go to that river, because out here when we go to "the river" its the Colorado River. Personally I fish out of a Skeeter, but hey at least we both have Fords.

I don't think anybody was bashing man.

I just got a kick out of you driving from MS to TX and back in your F-150 to buy a vehicle to drive to keep the mileage down on your F-150.

Humorously ironic is all.

Thanks Rocky. She was right at ten. Caught her pitching a T-rigged worm to the reeds in the canal out of Holiday Park in the Everglades west of Fort Lauderdale. I can't buy a fish on live shiners!

And you were kiddin' about the eatin' part, right? .......

Hey sdf150guy,

Yeah, it is nice to know that there are other fisherman here. I'm sure there are plenty more. You ready for this? I'm the president of my local fishing club and it's called the Skeeter Owners Club! Obviously, we do accept "outsiders"!! Skeeter is a fine boat, but I love my Ranger. Close guess on my rig. It's a 521 with a 225 EFI.

Actually, those pics were taken in South Florida. I go there every winter to escape the cold up here in Maryland. When I referred to the river, I'm meant the Potomac which is where most of my time is spent.

I also travel to Colorado at least once a year. Maybe I could look you up and you could show me some Rocky Mountain style fishin'!
You guys got any decent bass fishin' out there?

Oh, and thanks for compliments SuperCab V8!
