The Xcalibrator gives you approximately 50% more HP & Torque over the 1714. This is based on what I’ve read in threads posted in the “Computer Chips” forum.

I believe jpdadeo is correct and you must remember who is doing the tuning.

I guess someone who is not really up on tuning could possibly set up the Xcalibrator and it would not be very good. But when you have someone like Mike Troyer doing your tune for you I thnks its a good bet you've got the best going

.
