i'm impressed with my 2wd truck

First of all, my truck is an 04 4.6L 2WD STX. I have had this truck in 2 different situations where I thought for sure i would be stuck.

First, about 2 weeks ago i was driving out in a field to shoot my guns. There is a big low lying area that looks as though a crater hit it. I decided to back my truck down to get closer becuz there is a fox hole at the bottom of this crater. The sides of this crater are probably at a 45 degree angle. The ground is wet from the morning dew and i was easily able to drive straight up out of the crater. Amazing!

Then last night there was a christmas parade in town and cars where all along the rides with no where for me to park. I decided to drive over a curb down some back road. It looked to me as thought it was just the 4-5" curb then level ground on the other side. no big deal right? well there was a ditch on the other side! i go over the curb and bottom out. My trucks rear end is about pointing straight up in the air. i get out and act as though i ment to do it(when i was terribly embarrased) and watch the parade with some friends. We come back to my truck and there is a crowd of people around my truck amazed at how my truck is positioned! I'm really feelin embarrased now. But i get in, put it in reverse and it pulls right out of the ditch and over the curb and leaves the bystanders with their mouths open!

I wish i would've thought to take a picture of it while it was in t he ditch. if u saw it u would've never thought i could've made it out with out a tow truck.

Ya these trucks are pretty good in 2x4. Do you have an lsd? That would be one of the reasons you don't get stuck where you should if you do have one.
