Has anyone had a problem shifting out of Park?
I experienced this twice...VERY RARE, but its happened. When parking on a very slight angle (driveway or something similar) and once on flat land...I was unable to shift out of park. How strange is that?
For a second, I was ready to call a tow truck...instead, I started swaying the truck front to back left to right from inside (funny sight because there were several of us in the truck try to get some movement). While the truck was trying to sway or move, I was able to move the shifter out of Park???
It wasnt because my steering wheel was locked or anything...tried everything before shaking the damn truck....no luck.
Just checking to see if anyone has experienced this...

I just have to post that you have to have push the brake in to shift from Park. I know it sounds dumb, but I can remember being in elementary school when my mom couldn't get the new Volvo out of park...simple fix...press the brake. The Volvo dealership had a good laugh.
I mean no offense, and I am sure you had the brake pushed in, but in my '99 F-150 4x4 Off-Road, I DIDN'T have to push the brake in to shift from Park. That was maybe the hardest thing to get used to between my '99 and my '04.
