any recomendations on air intakes

ive been wanting to get an air intake but unsure of which one and where to get one

I just bought the Mac cold air intake for like 130bucks. Its chrome so it looks nice, and the performance is the same as a K&N, which is plastic and about 100 bucks more.

I don't know which one is the best or if it really makes a difference but I didn't want mine opened so I just ordered a volant. Plus I like the mod that was done on it in this thread.

Take a look at the True Flow system. I've had one on my 5.4 for a couple of weeks now. Simple setup and I think it looks great. Go to their web site www.trueflow.com for more information and dyno results.

Gotta watch it on what kind of intakes you install on the new 5.4s. They are kind of finicky about running lean A/F ratios with some of them...Kevin
