Vibe is mostly Supercrews??

Seems to me a majority of vibes are Supercrews.... Latest info says Ford thinks its a body mount problem (very sensitve absorbers)... This is a result of tryin to keep you car buyers happy with a truck that rides as good or better than high end luxury vehicles.... I have a 2004 scab FX4 with 6000 miles and I F#@%G LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!I have owned 14 Vehicles and mostly Fords and Porsche's, But this F150 is by far the greatest vehicle I have ever owned & driven, and the best on the road right now, hands down!! Knock on wood...I have had no vibes, no brake problems, no squeaks or rattles, NOTHING.. Of course I have the Audiophile cranked full blast with some Damageplan so I dont hear much....all I can say is if you have a vibration, trade it in...and buy something else you can bring to the shop everyday.:santa: Happy holidays everyone!!

I have no vibes either and I have a SUpercrew, 5.4, with 3.73 LS rear end. However, I think you may be on the right track as I noticed this evening that the rear ed of the truck sits directly on the frame with no rubber or anything, seems like this could be a cause of vibration itself. Don't most body to frame mountings have rubber bushings or am I wrong in this.

PS: my expedition has body to frame rubber bushings.

What year SuperCrew do you have?

I have an '05, if you have an 04 take a picture of what you are looking at so I can take the same to compare. I just have 200 miles but nothing yet, I am taking her out this holiday weekend for a little freeway driving (going no where just up the road and back to get her above 60).

I would like to see if they did anything different.

Do a bit of thread searching folks. It's all the flavors of the F150's from what I've seen. I have a scab and the vibe gets worse by the week. DSB to start very soon.

Ok, if it stops raining, I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it. But I thought that there sould be some sort of rubber between the frame and body. Since I have no vibe problems, it may not be the issue, but it compound a vibration from somewhere else and make it worse.

mine was vibe free for over 10,000 miles.....truck was perfect...i developed a whine noise from rear at around 8000 miles and the dealer replaced my entire rear end at 10k miles and now i do have a slight vibe @ 40-50 mph.....its nothing major yet but from what i read it gets worse with time....so in the case with my truck it has to have something to do with the replacement of the rear.....either they left something off or lose but the vibe was definatly not there before they replaced the rear axle.....going back in after T-day for further inspection.....

I have the towel so it doesn't ruin the seat or the carpet not much room for anything.

I have an 04 Screw Lariat 4x4. Built 8/04 and I have no vibe. It only has 1,300 miles on it, so hopefully it remains that way. If it develops later I'll just trade it in, there's now way I'm going to put up with some of the BS that some of you have.
