When I was a mechanic I replaced a lot of defective tires from most of the manufacturers some more than others but I dont remember ever having to replace aMichelin until it was worn out. If I had my choice I would put Michelins on all my vehicles (and I have in the past) and as soon as possible or when they make them in the size I need they will replace the Generals on my truck. The Generals have not given me a problem yet, but they are not the best tire by any means. I havent considered Goodyears in a long time.

Have to agree with grayflare. A co worker bought some AT Mich's a week after I bought new BF's ATs for my old truck. after 25K, it was near time to replace the BF's, and his Mich's look practically new after 20K.

My 04 SCrew came with the Wranglers, and I've loved em so far (8K), and have had no problems what-so-ever. I put Goodyear's on my wifes Taurus, and they have been awesome.

I'll do the Mich's too when these wear out, but the GY's have been great all the same.

Blessings!
