Question Daystar Lift Installed, Is This Correct?

Just got my 04 SCREW back today from the local shop, had a Daystar leveling kit installed. When I got home i noticed that the shocks looked different some how. Then I found the black plastic dust boots that come stock in the back of my truck. Should these have been left on? Or do they have to be removed? I dont want to take it back and complain if its no problem. Anyone else with a Daystar notice the same thing?

can't say for sure as I don't have one, but I believe the daystar lift comes with new/different boots...can anyone confirm this?

I installed the daystar myself. I think what you're talking about is the plastic sleeve that covers the top of the shock. When I installed mine I only removed the stock spring spacer and replaced it with the one from daystar. The directions didn't say to remove the plastic sleeve, so I didn't. I don't know that it will hurt anything, but then I'm not entirely sure of what it's purpose is.

I also left mine in during my install.

Thanks for the info, took it back today and they are going to put them back on. Did anybody happen to notice a change in the turning radius after the Daystar install?

I didn't notice any difference but then again, I wasn't looking at the BEFORE and AFTER affects of it.
