Talking Bigger Tires!!!!!!!

I just got an '04 XLT Super Crew last week, and I know I will be changing the tires to a bigger size pretty soon, and I am wanting to know if anyone knows what the largest tire is I can fit on this truck stock, with no lift and no rubbing. I plan on keeping the rims which are 17" for a little while until I can save the money up for some "prettier" rims. Any help/suggestions/advice would be great.

Thanks

Have you decided what kind of oil to go with?
Which exhaust?
Which intake?
What about the vibration...do you have it?
Have you raced a Hemi yet?
What about the gearing?
Are you a Republican?

Eh, just kidding.

You may want to try out the search feature above. I'll get you started...

hehe.

Tuff Ford - The results returned too many threads for him to read through. Could you maybe answer his question and then all of your questions too. Just in case.

I put 285/70/17's on with new wheels and had no issues. I'm not sure what they would have been like on the stock wheels.

Level it out first--about $150 for autospring + alignment. Then you should be able to run 285's, 295's, or 33x12.5's with no problem at all.
