dash

Has anyone had the top of the drivers side dash off, behind the insterment cluster? It looks like it is seperate and I've found the front two bolts holding it on but I can figure out how to get the back loose.

I remember reading the dash is a one-piece unit, but I had no luck trying a "Search" for the info. Maybe someone else remembers (or contributed to) the thread.

Good luck!

I think they are the clips like in the little side panel where the side window defrost is (1)....they are very strong
But I have never had it apart so I don't know for sure
Here's a pic.

Where did you get those scheamtics at? I have been looking for something like that, so repairs/mods are made easier. Thanks in advance!

I second that.

I'd love to get my paws on a CD or similar that shows exploded views of our trucks like that.

I had a similar CD that showed all the wiring and such for my 2001... another disc similar to that would be AWESOME.

Let us know!

My CD is a copy... I don't know where it originally came from.
