climate control in FX4

Anyone know if you can swap out the dual climate control in the lariat into the fx4. It would sure save alot of fights with the wife, she's cold blooded
What would be involved? I would guess the wiring harness is all the same.

The '04 F150 Lariats didn't come with "dual climate control"...and I don't think the '05s do either. The Lariats do have EATC (Electronic Automatic Temperature Control)...but that doesn't allow you to set different temps for each side of the cab.

I'm almost sure that the dual climate system doesn't exist on the F-150.

My 05' doesn't have it and the manual made no mention of it either to my recollection...

I'm 100% sure there is no dual climate control. J&D said it best with the ETAC.

What about adding the ETAC? I'd be interested in that as well.

Hmmm... adding ETAC.. I guess anything is possible. I don't know of anyone that has done this, or if the wiring is similar or what. Anyone have full wiring diagrams for the standard climate control & the ETAC to compare?! Prolly be $$$ as well...

There i go again, assuming s**t. Only glanced at the Lariat, just thought it was dual electonic climate control. Maybe the Lincoln will have it for 2006.

I think the biggest thing would be having to settle for the wood dash in your fx4. That wouldn't be too cool in my books. For anyone wondering why you would need the wood dash it is because the etac has a different shape than the manual controls.
