I'm going to look up LaMotta. I just got back from Parts4Trucks and they are a joke. I wouldn't trust that place to change my oil.
BTW, I'm looking to do some gearing work on my truck and another reputable shop is Advance Driveline over on Carder road (near Lee Rd and 441). I got a quote from them this morning and want to get at least one more competitive bid. Parts4Trucks had some kid who couldn't manage to figure out what he could charge for the job (I had serious doubts that he even understood what the job entailed).

Complete out-the-door estimate for changing out my 3.31 open gears for 3.55 or 3.73 with posi was $900 plus incidentals and tax. My other quote from Advance Driveline was an all-inclusive hard price of $1484.34 but that included an Eaton Posi unit instead of Ford factory posi. The Eaton unit was quoted at $480.
