AUX input

I hate to beat the dead horse but has anyone got the AUX input to cooperate with any mp3 players or Satelite radios without having the DVD player . I have the AUX button and audiophile ready for 6 disc changer w/o the changer . I'm not an audio pro here . I'm looking to hook my Sirius radio up to my system via AUX input , being red and white RCA connectors . Serious ford aggravation here . BTW its an 04 F150 XLT 2wd 4.6 SCAB .

Nothing will work with it. Aftermarket products are on the way... search the forums, lots of info.

Soundgate is close to having a AUX in product as well.

A soundgate AUX input and the Monster iCruze should be a killer combo for iPod users.

That is what I'll be installing.

iCruze is new product from Monster cable. there is info on their website. It launches on Nov 25th I think.

It will be able to integrate the iPod with the factory audio system. You can plug iPod into cable in you glovebox or center console and control it from head unit or in most cases the steering wheel.

The ipod text info gets transferred to the head unit or there is a secondard display you can get.

I'm not sure how complete the integration wll be on the f150 but I will continue to post and let everyone know.

AUX-POD does not work with 2004 or later 150. Nothing does right now.

This is the 2004-2005 F-150 board.

Looks good, hope I can use both the Sirius and iPod through this combo.

Wonder if these iPod hookups will work with other mp3 players. I just modded my Creative Nomad from a 20gb into a 60gb so I can hold every cd my wife and I have including a ton from a buddy of mine. I have 27 gigs on it and that's 600 cd's.

I'm hoping that maybe when they get the AUX interface figured out, I'll be able to hook it up to my '04 Audiophile deck.

Just curious if that will have the right controls on it or if I'd have to swap in an '05 deck with the mp3 controls so the folder buttons are on there. I guess we'll see.

The AUX-IN devices should work no problem. The iCruze will only work with the iPod.

If you want to navigate the folders on the mp3 player you would have to do that on the device & then hit play to drive it through the audio system via AUX-IN.

The Neo iON has been out for a while now and it works the same way the iCruze does. Plus, you can get it for a lot less than the iCruze if you look in the right places on the net.

Once again, bad information. NONE OF THESE DEVICES are available for 2004 F150s. Some are supposedly in the works but NONE - I repeat NONE of them work with our trucks.

Yeah, I know nothing will work currently. I was just wondering how it would work when it came out. I guess I'll have to upgrade my deck to get the functionality to the HU instead of clicking around on the mp3 player. Right now I'm doing that through FM modulation, but it would be nice to just stash everything and have it work thru the HU.
