revtek leveling kit

I bought the revtek leveling kit but it didnt come with any new hardware and it didnt come with holes drilled in it to mount with new hardware. It says that it goes on top of the coil right under the mount it sets in.My question is how do i install this or should i try and send it back. Do i need to get new hardware if i do put this in? Any help would be great!

Maybe you're supposed to drill the holes in it

seriously though, did it come with directions? Maybe there is osme innovative way it sets in without slipping out.

I thought revtec was about the same as daystar? They both fit under the coil without any mounting hardware.

chec this out. According to revtek, they are an easy BOLT ON, so you better make a call first. Unless the people that have them here can help you

It's simple. Just pull the whole front strut assemble and compress the spring. After the spring is compressed removed the top of the strut. Place Revtek spacer in the top of the assembly and re-assemble the strut. You will need to take out the thin plastic piece from round the top of the shock. The hardest part is compressing the spring. I ended up using the wall mount spring compressor at the local tire shop here.

So that kit actually changes the spring set, to a more compressed setting? unlike the autosprings and the daystar, etc.

chemgod hit the nail on the head, there are no holes in the revtek spacers, it just fits on top of the coil, its not that bad, the only difference I have heard of being different than the daystar or autospring is the revtek lifts the front exactly 2" like it should, where as the others Ive heard lift it as much as 1" more than its supposed to. I would have rather gone with one of the others for those types of results but I only paid like 65 bucks for my revtek, so I couldnt pass up half price! just make sure if you do it yourself you have all the necasary tools, there are some pretty big bolts holding your tierod ends together, luckily I had a friend who has the tools of a mechanic so he had everything we needed in his garage!

daystar does this as well. autospring doesn't. it's a hot topic of debate....
