AUTOSPRINGS KIT Installed

Ok, here it is, with the Autosprings kit installed. Hope the pic comes out. Stock wheels and tires for now.

It is as level as can be. There is actually about 1/3 inch more clearence between the fender and rear tire than in the front, but the truck has no visible rake in either direction. The kit raised the front approximately 2.7 inches. I have driven it all weekend and there has been no issues with it. I had it aligned right after installation.

Looks Awesome! I'm hoping to install autosprings someday myself.

Did you do the install, or send it to the shop? Difficult?

I had it installed, since I didn't want anything to go wrong. It looks great and the ride didn't change at all.

No, I called them directly and they were very cool. Here is their webpage with numbers on it

http://www.autospringcorp.com/hotproduct.htm

One thing about this kit is that it is all thick steel and is so sturdy that it should last as long as the truck, easily.

Sweet!! Looks good. How much did they charge to install. I shopped around the area and 270 was the cheapest. I decided to put the daystar in myself, it cost me $9 for the stall rental at the hobby shop.

I went wit the 2.5 incher, but it ended up a little higher, like almost 2.7. It worked out well, because the rear of my truck was quite high, so now it is only a hair higher in the back.

The actuall spacer is 1.75 inches but it raises the vehicle 2.5 inches. The 1 and 5/8 spacer raises it 2 inches but someone else posted that their vehicle went up 2.2 inches with it, so the numbers given by autosprings are conservative.

Now if Bilstein would make replacement shocks for these trucks. I would settle for Rancho 9000's, the stockers are crap, I can feel the tires bounce sometimes over harsher bumps, this would never happen with quality shocks.
