Pretty hot. So after some miles, how is the ride? I'm sure the ride itself is unchanged, but how much more harsh are the bumps?

The ride is excellent...no harshness at all. In fact all the vibrations and steering wheel shake is gone. I am very please with them. Best of all considering the waite of them versus the factory set up (these way 160lbs each) the gas consuption is only down 1MPG. From 15.8 to 14.8.

Beautifullllll!!!! Been waiting to see the new body style on tweny-fo's! Sweet! I had 22's on my 03 and loved them. I wonder how 24's and 40" tires would look with a 12" lift... lol

160LBS EACH!!!! Wow...

Correct me if Im wrong, but arent some aftermarket wheels lighter than stock. I thought I rember reading that some centerline wheels were lighter than stock. I guess they're aluminum.

At 160lb and zero sidewall, I can't believe the 'ride hasn't changed' claim. Insane.

Well some wheels are lighter than stock, but not 24s. There is A LOT of metal there, plus the tires are over 32" tall. You would really have to see a set in person off of the truck to grasp just how big these wheels are.

As for the ride quality not changing....I didn't say that. I said it was better. The stock BFGs really sucked. It changed it from riding like a Taurus to riding like a Cobra. Sidewall size is way overrated. How many Mercedes or BMWs have you seen with a huge sidewall tire on them??? A good high quality low profile will ride just as good as a regular tire. But if you doubt it come down to south GA and I will carry you or a ride and let you see for yourself!

Awesome truck and awesome wheels...

One unsolicited suggestion.... Chrome Westin Step Rails to finish it off, and perhaps a chrome exhaust tip (or two).

Centerline wheels are much lighter than stock wheels. A Centerline 20" is lighter than a stock 17", but stronger...

I never saw Centeline go over a 22" wheel though; and 22's seem rare....

I talked to Centerline about this and for the F150 they so far only make up to 20"
They say there isn't any market (????) to make a bigger wheel for the new F150.
The weight difference on different wheels
are basically this, a forged Aluminum wheels is lighter then a cast one, so a centerline 20" (centerlines wheels are forged) is lighter then a stock F150 17-18" wheel but a 20-22-24" cast wheels i much heavier then stock in most cases.

I still don't buy that the ride is just as cushy with the heavy wheels and low profile tires. When I went from stock 16s to 18s with low profile performance tires on the little lady's BMW, there is a hell of a difference. Yes, they are just as smooth (on smoooth surfaces), handling obviously much better, but over the bumps there is a HUGE difference. Tires are such a huge part of the ride quality (and handling) of any vehicle, making such a drastic change has got to change the vehicles ride.
