These F150's are underrated, even by the people that drive them. I've posted many times about the performance of these trucks, and almost always someone craps on my parade. I've heard alot of guys around here saying big things about Titan performance.

Bottom line is if the Titan was such a fantastic truck, then you would see more than 1 for every 10 F150's out there!

BTW COOOL!!!

What did both you and the Titan driver use to override the speed limiters?

FATHERFORD, sorry off topic, but i just looked at your gallery and noticed your '55 F-1. I love old trucks and Id love to find a 53 F-1 with a flathead V-8 to restore next. My dad and i have 3 years restoration in the 53 Chevy 3100 in my sig. Gota love old trucks, a frame off resto. is a pain in the rear, but i love it!!! Get that sucker on the road!!

Its 3rd in line to get worked on/finished.

Pace car(getting done), 87 f150(nearly done), then the 55 f100. Yet to decide what route I want to go with the 55 f-100. I'm thinking modern drivetrain(lightning) and interior.

No sir, they were either a 140hp 5.0, a 139hp turbo 2.3, or 3 t-top models had a 300hp Roush engines. My car was orginally a turbo 2.3 so im keeping it a turbo 4 pot... Thats about all that will be the same

Excellent!!!

I must share a kill story:

Friday I'm leaving work, arrive first in line at a stop light, and notice an Escalade EXT next to me. A feeling comes over me. I know the bastard next to me is going to try to nail it off the light and get into my lane to merge on the freeway (they are in a left turn lane). Light goes green, we both mash our right foots into the floorboard... and ran bumper to bumper until she (yes, I looked over to see two hotties) chickened out, wailed on her brakes on got behind me. I felt good in my 3 ton Tan Terror. I have not a clue how quick the EXTs are, but I'd guess they are pigs like any other large truck.

Got a couple looks from the chicks after we were on the freeway, but I was laughing the whole time. I thought to myself "Just because your hot doesn't mean I'll be nice to you... "
