Skimo...I think the component speakers in the front doors are Boston Acoustics....and the amp/sub setup is Alpine. (Not sure about the back speakers) A search should give you some more info...

Troy, was the connector tucked under the carpet or what? Also, when you bought the sub-box and amp, did you have to get a jumper harness to go between the amp and the connector in the truck?

In mine, i found a slit in the carpet under the back seat close to the bracket that the seat hinges on. I reached in there and couldnt feel anything, but i dont know if im looking in the right place.

ok, i found it, i took the back seat out and found the harness and routed it up through the slit in the carpet.

Now i need to find someone that has removed their factory sub box/amp (someone hook me up).

Rock,

I have the autophile in the 05 KR. I think it is very good. My 01 KR had much to be desired with the radio. I was going to upgrade it, before I decided to trade up.

Sound is good to be, of course I worked on too many jets in the Air Force, not the best hearing.

You'll like it. It's VERY CLEAR and sounds good to me.

P.S. I'm not 18 either.

There are usually several of these on eBay at any time.

I guess as a follow-up...

I went with the AUDIOPHILE and haven't regreted it in the least. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a little 'oompah' out of their music.

It's far from a competition sound system but, if you're looking for some added bass, some additional clarity on the highs, and just a more powerful sound, this is the option for you!
