Question fancy Aux. Reverse Light setup

Plan to add aux. reverse lights. Goal is to place switch in cab so that the aux. lights will be either 1) on with taillight reverse lights or 2) manually on. Already have the switch, just need to wire.

Anyone done this?
Tips on an easy to find/splice second power source in the cab? Cigarette lighter work?

You could just take a test light and have sombody put the truck in reveres and which every wire has power not brake power but reverse light power wire taht as your wire with switched power then you never have to worry about flipping the switch or monting a switch in cab.

Thanks. That's the plan for the "automatic" function, but also want to be able to have the lights always on (for hooking up/loading trailer). Nothing worse than loading snowmobiles at 8pm/-10deg in tha dark! Otherwise i can just leave the truck in reverse and shut the engine off. Which i want to get away from!
