Skyjacker 3in lift
Camburg Engineering and Donahoe Racing have C/O kits coming out with-in the next month or so. They will be very similar to the Tundra replacement coil-overs available from these shops today. These will be extremely high quality (3" I'm guessing) lifts. It might be worth waiting another month before you drop a ton of money. I couldn't wait so I went with the autospring for now. 115.00 is fine for a temperary lift IMO.

$1300 isnt a bad price for the lift. The real trick is finding a good installer that wont rip you because you bought it online. A lot of the installers here would buy the kits from 4wheelparts, mark them up then chop the labor. If you brought it in they would raise the labor. For example...
Installer 1) If I bought it there he was going to get it for $1000 and install it for $800. If I bought it myself he was going to charge $1000 to install it to make up for the loss in sales.
Installer 2) Didnt care and charged me $600 in labor to install it plus $50 to paint all the calipers red.
I went with number 2 because I also wanted to paint the lift components and not have the stock grey under there.
I dont know your attitude about lifts but I am thinking if you go with a 3" you will be unsatisfied the second you park next to a 6" one. The 6" lift is worth the money for looks alone. It makes the truck stand out and not look anything like a stock f150 where as a level kit or a 3" is not going to look all that different, just allow bigger tires. If money is your only driving factor on a 3" or a 6" then save up for the 6" or else 6 months from now with the 3" you will be trying to figure out how to upgrade again.
Look at my gallery, look at my stock photos compared to the lifted ones. Most people dont even think its the same truck...

Looking at all the parts laid out I can say that if I had a good jack, time and an extra set of hands, I could install the 6" lift myself. The procomp kit is basically a bunch of brackets that go inbetween your frame and your current suspension parts. If you have a good grasp of automotive work and the time to do it, I am sure you could do it yourself.
The front is the hardest (back end are blocks) because you have to lower the front diff and transfer case, unhook the lower arms and replace the spindles. Nothing to drastic with no cutting, only a small 1/2" hole you have to drill. But its a lot of labor (probably a full weekend).
If I were you I would call up procomp and have them email or fax you a set of instructions. Tell them you lost yours and they will get them out to you asap. Then see if you think its within your reach.
If I didnt live in a city where its a crime to do any work on your vehicle (or if I had a driveway) I would have done it myself.
Good luck.

Not everyone is money bags Eddy. Some of us cant afford a 2,000 dollar lift and 2,000 set of tires. Why not spend $600 and have a pretty nice truck. And maybe you have the time to spend endless hours in your garage, trying to figure out how to install a lift. Some of us have a lives, other than our truck. We all cant have a bad *** truck like yours, so quit trying to persuade some of us into spending one months pay for a lift, to make ourselves feel like we have big *****.

The point is do it right. If you want a 3" lift then go 3". If you want a 6" then get the 6" dont make a rash choice because you want to mod so bad but dont have the cash right now. That good advice was given to me when I was thinking of a level kit or a body lift and was told to just wait and save, so thats what I did.
Its funny you think the tires were $2000. You are a sad SOB if you go spend that after all the advise I have given people on cheap 35s.
Relax, have another beer. And stop thinking about my big *****.
Know your roll rook!
Sorry I cant help you much with the 33s. Since the 35s were take offs, the best advice I can give is to go out and find a truck with stock 33s on it and maybe they will have some laying around cheap. The reason the 35s are cheap is because Hummer owners tend to change out their rims and have no use for the 315/70/17s. The same as we pull off our stock tire and wheel setups and they go for cheap on ebay.
You can still get 33s for under $500 though. I would hold out for a ProComp "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" Deal and then buy them. You need to find a place to get them without paying shipping though since that will save you at least 100 bucks.
I tried to do everything as thrifty as possible since I didnt have money to throw away. (I am just now making my final payment on the lift)
tpeterson who used to be on this site a lot used to kill me because he had the 6" lift and I couldnt afford to get it. But I waited and bought everything a piece at a time and then made it happen. For 6 months I had wheels and no tires, then a lift sitting in a box, then wheels in my dining room for a week (gf didnt like that one)
Shop around and you can make it happen pretty cheap compared to what the going rate is.

Your way of saying "go 6 go 6
" Meens that if you want to get a 3 in lift then go with it. BS. Tell me where t find these cheap 35's, because I cant see them. Tires are roughly $200 a piece right. If you want decent wheels then you are looking a $200 a piece as well. That is without getting the cheapest rims on the planet (american eagle) With my math, that is $1600 plus tax. Tell me where i can get a set of 35's and nice wheels for less than $2000.

You bash another member for no damn reason then ask me to help you out. F#ck off.
Its not exactly hard to find anyway since I have helped a lot of others find them. So you go pay $200 a tire for being a *****.
Why wouldnt I promote the 6, its a great lift and it didnt involve you so relax. Not for anything but you are starting off on the wrong foot, not even being a senior member or here for more than a month yet and bashing people. This board is great because you can speak freely but show some respect and education.
By the way, my AE rims (the cheapest) were $150 each and the tires were $100 each. By my math thats $1000...and I am going to go out on a limb here but that is half of $2000 right?
Try to calm down, not be a ***** and my some allies here before flaming...
