Very true, but you will still fit in most garages. With the 6" lift and 35s it stands just under 7' at the back of the cab. Most garages are around 7-8' unless you are in DC then they are more like 5'!!!
The real problem I have with garages is the tight turing radius to park. Too many times I have parked and someone got to close to me and trapped me there for the night. I just stay away from garages now anyway. Sure I could squeeze but whatever.
Besides being the tallest is a bad itch once you have it. Its really nice to roll up on a stock FX4 at a light and the guy is starring at the truck wondering if they jipped him on the "offroad package". The real mind f#ck is the fx4 flares and red "Offroad" sticker on my truck.
oh so true!

Now if I could only get my wheels to turn sideways to parallel park in those tight spaces.

Can you put a spacer with the Skyjacker 3 in struts?

I doubt you could without "topping out" your suspension.

Im with Wandell, I dont think there is much more you can do. The new coil is essentially the same as a stock coil and spacer, anything taller and you need new spindles and what not...same as the 6" lift.

everyone keeps mentioning the rancho 4" kit which will be 1" more than ill have. not a big deal and i sure wouldnt pay $1000 for a 4" kit.
Just for your info, I just installed the AUTOSPRINGS levelling kit and it gave me nearly 2.7 inches of lift in the front. The truck looks great with it, so they are true to their claims. My truck looks level with this kit. I think I got an unusually tall truck in the back, because it is not higher in front with this much lift in front. It looks great as is. I'll post picks son.

sounds good, can't wait to see pics. Did you get the frontend aligned after installing the leveling kit?

Yes, I definitely got it aligned. The guys at autosprings said it is a must due to the toe in nature of the change, so I listened. Pics comming today.

I got my lift from 4wheelparts.com. I ordered it when I had 10% off and free shipping.

OK who got there "skyjacker" kit in? All the local shops like 4WPart said that the 3 in kit was being redesigned and I can't get the 3 in kit intel March. They called Skyjacker and they do not know what the difference will be. DO YOU ???

I'm in the same boat as all of ya'll. After many phone calls there appears to be a problem with the shocks and skyjacker said they should be able to ship out the revised kit in the end of Nov. (they said the 28th) or so. If it takes any longer i might just have to get a 6"...darn . But that's the latest news i have.

heres the reply i got. im seriously looking into a 6" kit or the Rancho 4" kit.

Erick,
We were told like 2 weeks when we ordered the kit. I just called Skyjacker and they are saying it will probably be the beginning of January. They did say it could be earlier. Your only other option is a 6" which is made by several other companies. What do you want to do? We should be at the top of the list once they are ready. They are basically only waiting on shocks but they are on backorder.

Thanks,
