2004/2005 Dimensions?
2004/2005 Dimensions?
I know it's been posted but, after an exhaustive search, I can't find the information...
I'm specifically looking for the exact length, height, and width of a 4X4 SCREW.
Can anyone help me out please?
THANKS!

Thanks for the information guys...
But, now I have conflicting information.
THIS SITE lists the truck as being 69.6" tall (H430+H103)-(H711) = Height
Whereas the site that ShadowedFX4 lists shows it at 76 inches
Here's the delima... my garage is somewhere between 77 and 80 inches tall.
Anyone had any problems fitting an 04/05 4X4 into a standard garage? I wouldn't expect a problem but, I'm crossing my T's and dotting my I's before I move forward with any chance of me trading my 2001 KR.

i wouldn't subtract H711...... the H430 goes from top of cab to the "z" line. H103 goes from ground up to "z" line. So that would be total height. But still, that's only 72.6"
all i can say is that's what a test drive is for! figure either way, if the ford website is right, max is 76" then. lol, gonna be close

Any way you look at it, we're going to be squeeking in... I would see a shorty antenna in my immediate future if I did it I believe!

The powerfold mirrors on the KR will be a VERY nice feature to have at my disposal for the garage though!

It may happen.
Lucky for me that I'm Z-plan or this wouldn't even be an option. While I don't 'need' a new truck, the option is available and wouldn't stress out the household bugetary scope too much so, it's a possibility.
I did drive a 2005 KR today (black and loaded to the hilt) and, I must admit, I fell in love.
My biggest complaint is storage room within the truck. As most of you know, I'm a detailing nut (I'm actually a moderator over at meguiarsonline.com as well). I must have some room to store a bottle or two for day to day touch-ups but, after my initial assessment, there's VERY little space to do that... I already miss the little cubby holes behind the rear captains chairs (in my 01). The audiophile sub takes up copius amounts of room...
Beautiful truck but, where does one store a set of jumper cables or similar? Other than that, it gets an A+.... overall, it's a solid A.

RockPick best deal here buy the truck come home. Look at garage door let the air out of tires some and creep it in and close door. See it's very easy. Now my garage door is only 6 ft 2 inchs tall mine sits out .

RockPick,
I measured my 4x4 Screw for someone else before...the highest point of the cab was 75 1/4"...I've used some parking garages with a max. clearance of 77"...but I won't even try anything marked less.
I know how tempting the '05 KR is for you...but your '01 KR is awesome, too. I know it's not an easy decision for you. Good luck with whatever you decide. If you do buy the '05, whoever gets your 2001 will be very fortunate (make sure you leave detailed care instructions in the glove box
).

No word at this time if they'll offer it in an SCAB.
