Ouch! I just bought an XLT and am sure I paid too much for it. Is it too late to use an X- plan pin? we have the option to upgrade to an FX-4 and am wondering if such an upgrade would be worth it.

We bought our truck only three days ago.

Thanks,

Monte

Here is a snapshot example from our xplan pricing site from local participating dealers. The inventory shows xplan compared against MSRP, where it looks like its discounted from MSRP even if the calculation starting point is off the A plan + incremental. The pricing mentions that it xplan may be under invoice, but through my search, I found it to still be over invoice, and the avg savings is about 4.5k off MSRP on 04 models.

I guess I should say that I'm also hoping someone can send me an X-Plan pin to use when we swap our truck for another.

If not, I surely understand.

The PINs are good for an entire year. I think it would be best though, to wait until you are ready to buy your vehicle to request a PIN from someone who has one to give. It would be a shame to waste a PIN if you don't actually go through and purchase the vehicle. I'm sure there are lots of Ford employees on this board who don't mind giving a loyal Ford buyer an X PIN so as long as it is used.

I understand where you are coming from. They pay us a little extra dough over here so the 1st place I am going is the Ford Dealership. I was just wanting to have evrything in line before I make it back to the states. I also didn't know if I would have any other opportunities to use the X-plan. But if you say that I shouldn't have a problem in the coming months then I'll go with that you would know better than I

Hello all!

Please give the PIN to Max. We went ahead and swapped out for an FX4. While we didn't get anything near invoice, we do like this truck and hope for many years of loyal service from it. Our sales person was terrific and the experience was the best we have had buying a vehicle. We saved about $2500 below MSRP.

Max, good luck on your deployment I also was in a place like yours where we got a bit extra for being in a nasty situation. May God protect you all and look after your loved ones.

wish you could ws6 but once you sign a contract they will not change price . That is why it's important to tell them in the beginning of the plan you are using.
