Well, I put the sillblades on today with a buddy from work but he put his side on upside down. Now I cannot get it off in order to put it on the correct way. Anybody have any ideas? Are they usually this hard to get off.

bigsherm,

My sillblades arrived on Tuesday and I installed them that evening. I accidently put one of the clips on the wrong way at first...but was able to remove it without a problem.
You may want to remove the wiper arms from the truck so that you can get a little better leverage/control with them. Just swing the wiper arm up all the way from the windshield, then pull out the little lever at the base while pulling upward and the arm assembly will come right off. Once the wiper arm is off the truck, it's easier to "have at it". You can always use a hammer as a last resort...
I hope that helps...let me know how it goes.

It seems like that, if you rotate the blade clockwise (as viewed from the cab), it snapped upwards and off of that mount.

I'm reciting this from total memory and thus, I'm not sure that's exactly right.

Worst case scenario, you can call silblade and order another kit for installation if you break that plastic piece. Good luck!

J&D-

Any ideas as to where I can pick up one of them handy-dandy discounts?

And which style did you get, the 420's? They have about 5 pages worth. Even within the 20" family, there are several to choose from.

Sweet. I have some on order too. Thanks for the discount. I still can't figure out why you would pay tax online. My total was $24.63. Maybe they like me better? :santa:

Darn man, they probably do like you better. (That plus the fact that they are located in PA. and have to collect from us residents...)

It's all good. It rained a little here today, so I got to break them in.

You must pay sales tax online with many sites Tuff. The key is if who you are buying from has a presence within the state where the product is to be delivered...

So, in short, if you go to sears.com and order a compressor, odds are you'll get taxed because I'm sure you have a Sears within your state.

If they are strictly an online vendor, there is no tax...
