and the rip of the day is...........

so i called the best guy in town to change my 3.55 gears to a 4.11 now i have a 4x4 so he has to do both diffirentals and the grand total is......$3500 and no i am not missing the decimal. does this not seem a little steep or am i not that smart?

I got quoted 600 per axle. You can get it cheaper though. I also got a quote to change to 5.13 gears, put in an Eaton locker, beefier spline axle all for 2750.

Go somewhere else, I got 5.29 gears and Detroit Truetracs in both ends of my Toyota for $2200. You can do better than what he quoted you.

I would have asked how many BJ's were included... cuz you better be gettin' some for that price!!!
