Is A/C ALWAYS on with climate control?
I got up yesterday morning, about 40 degrees outside, had my temp set on 72, and the freakin' A/C is on! Sure, the air comin' out was warm after a couple of minutes, but the A/C on? Why? Does the Automatic Climate Control have a sensor for humidity, or is the A/C just always on unless you manually turn it off every time you get in your truck? If that's the case, it ought to be called Semi-Automatic Climate Control!
The light it always on, but the compressor isn't always running. You can turn it off all the time, but prepare for very foggy windows and humidity problems.
It's the way most auto climate controls works.
