Superchips Tuner without new CAI?

Was just wondering how the Superchips Tuner would do for my truck if I don't put an aftermarket CAI on? I've put a 1-in, 2-out dual exhaust with a Raven muffler on but haven't done anything with the intake.

Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated...

P.S.: I'm more interested in fuel economy / firmer shift points / throttle response than I am a noisy intake.....

The 1714 does great with or without an intake kit. I would suggest adding on an intake for better fuel mileage and a bit more power along with the 1714 chip.

Those are the first 2 mods I would suggest any new 04/05 F150 owner make to thier trucks first for overall cheap performance. It makes a huge difference in your trucks abilities.

The 1714 by itself is a great mod! But since you have exhaust, I would say do both whenever you are able to get the most out of your increased exhaust flow.

I have all and they really do add up! Check sig for pics!

Thanks guys!! I guess I'll just have to add some $$ to the Mod fund for this new FX4!!

These are great trucks that can be made just a little bit better, eh?

The tuner is really great, make the shifting how it should be! Good luck with the modding! And if you find any extra money, send some my way!

Get the tuner first, but then get the intake ASAP. combined with the exhaust you already have, the intake will finish it all off.
