Vibe Found????

Dealer is replacing entire rear axle this friday/monday to fix vibe at 55mph. Bad tire also replaced. What will happen next to my F150? A/C, Alignment, Front Brakes, Dash rattle by broken clips on trim, vibration, bad tire, as well as a few others.

Jansen

and yes I am bitter about the way Ford has fixed..... wait, they haven't fixed the problem.

I hate to tell you this, but I went through the steps on the TSB including the replacement of the rear end and my truck still has the vibration.

DSB paperwork is on it's way after three attempts and over thirty days at the dealership to fix the vibration.

I'm with you on being bitter, so far in shop 4 times for....
-Reflash
-Dampening Coupler
-New Driveline (Ordered wrong one first time)

Going back again for following:
Breaks are fried and violently shakes whole truck
LS grinds when turning
Change rattles in my ashtray (everything in cab) on glossy smooth concrete while under power between 40-60 mph,
Backup lights are out.

All this and only 6600 miles. Wished I'd have just kept my old 92 Sierra 4x4 that had 92,000 miles and had better quality ride than my POS. (2004 FX4 Scab)

Every mass-produced product sometimes have problems. Unfortunately, you guys might have a few of them. You'll find the exact same thing (problems in general) with every other brand. Be glad you don't have a piston-slapping GM...that won't be fixed by GM because they deny it
http://www.pistonslap.com/ Listen to that baby slap... http://www.pistonslap.com/photos.htm

You'll find the vast majority of new F-150 owners here have trouble-free trucks. Just like there are tons and tons of trouble-free Titans, Silverados, Rams, Tundras, etc, etc. Nature of the beast. Yes, sucks when you get the bad one though. You can't label the entire line of trucks bad because a few have trouble. Mine and many others are near perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
