Just so you have an idea, I was quoted $180 for the remote start installed. And thats from the guy who does all the remote starts and aftermarket stereo equipment for the dealer in Connecticut.

2-Way provides the signals from the vehicle back to the remote to let you know status of the system, running locked, etc. So, you know even if you can't see the vehicle.

Yes, upgrading to keyless entry means one remote controls the locks and starter. On my previous truck that had cheap Valet system with two buttons, pressing both started/stopped the engine. Pressing button 1 by itself locked/unlocked. On my current truck, is has individual buttons for lock, another for unlock, and one for engine start/stop.
