Question Overhead Visor Storage Console

Anyone installed one of these or similar? I am just wondering how much they cut down on my view out the front window.

Why don't you just take advantage of the overhead rail storage add-on. It's made especially for our trucks.

My bad....that looks like it might be a good sub then for the overhead storage. Didn't realize you had the moon.

I have one of these in my SuperDuty work truck, they are really handy and dont affect your forward vision much at all. unless you regularly look out the top of your windshield alot..
only bad is when you off road it be prepared to be bombarded by whatever you have stashed up there!

I've had one of these in every truck I've owned. I wish I had one for my 04, but so far I can't find anyone that makes them. If you install the visors they will cut your vision some, but the shelf tends to take the place of the visors. Whoever makes the "Shelf-It" brand also makes one that is split for the overhead consoles, but I don't know if they have them for the 04's yet.

See, that's what I am afraid of. I am tall as it is and this may partially block my view. Long torso, on the verge of fred flintstone with his head out the roof . I'll have to ponder this.

Thanks for the info guys.

Zoltan,
Look around becuase they make a new version of this so that it is 2 seperate pieces that fit just above the visor. This one is made out of the same plastic as the overhead console and looks alot better. I haven't seen inside a truck with the moonroof but if your map lights are the same then it molds into the plastic piece that holds them. If I remember correctly it also adds two 12volt plug ins on it. Check pace edwards website it should be on it.
