Skid plates

Anyone have any recommendations for skidplates for my (should be coming home tomorrow) '05 4x4 Scab?

I opted not to go with the factory items.

You can bet I'll post tomorrow, if I have a beautiful black truck in my driveway tomorrow afternoon. I'm almost wishing the weekend is over. lol

Will be waiting for the pics! The only skidplate I am aware of (which means there are more lol) is the one that comes with the Skyjacker lift. Let me know if you find any others!

Both Procomp and Fabtech make some plates as well but not for stock trucks.

The Bullbars look sweet! But I want the "bar" off the Procomp showtruck for the 04. They custom fabbed it up and it looks pretty tight! The round tubing that comes out of the lower grill area. Anyone else seen this? Do they sell it?

I think I am going to end up going with Fabtechs desert guard (wo skid plate) and then get a modular plate from procomp, but I am torn because the front bar of my lift looks good but the skid plate would perform better and cover it up.

Going to make my own if they don't start making them. The mechanic that does my mods been checking with procomp and they don't make them he was told. Didn't see any in their mini catalog, anybody know a link or part number that can help?

The part numbers for the traction bars and the skid plate were on the instructions for the lift. I know they make them, but I dont know who has them in stock. The plate is shown at under $100 though. The tractions are pretty expensive. The bull bars do look nice but too many people have them already. I think I am going to end up very similar to the Fabtech F150 in looks (except in black and red, not white and blue).
