Sport Shift! Kind of like other cars have, you have Drive then it will say "M" under that, you push it down and then you push the handle over to the right, and it says + and - on it so you control the gears, that would be kind of cool! Banana for that idea do it ford

I have always liked those setups. The Titan actually has one where you can shift it in a pattern. I liked that.

Whatever though, I am happy with it!

Ford has a great interior set up, they just need to get with the times and offer more high tech stuff, They just now put a recurculate in there..... and put the option to have the AC on and be able to choose whichever setting you want! their way way back in the times as far as that stuff goes, id love ford 100x more if they could put some nifty gadgets in it like the titan or foreign cars have, but thats still not what makes my primary choice, and ford could go all the way back to the stone age and id still be driving their products

I agree but if we think about some of the feature we do have, I'd say they are heading in the right direction.

- Redesigned 3-valve V-8
- Power rear slider window
- Autodim rear view mirrors
- 2 person memory seats with heat (wish I had this one)
- torsion bar in the tail gate
- outward mounted shocks (at least it looks good on the comercial)
- Speed sensing wipers
- computer center
- Stongest frame in the industry
- One of the highest rated trucks for off center collisions
- Passenger windows on the SCab go all the way down
- DC plug for the portable fridge in the back seat

I do agree with SuperCab V8, a sport shift would be another nice item to add to the list, especially for off road use. I miss the manual 5 speed.

Great responce, you know what i couldnt agree more with you.... i just think we need more "toys" basically in the truck....i guess we cant ask for everything at once though can we, Ford is doing some great inprovements.... and i believe Ford said it best..... "How this truck earned the right to be the next ford F-150"

just wishful thinking i guess on the added buttons and toys..... a Feature i wish we really had would be Controls on the steering wheel, (Including one to open the rear sliding window) that would be sweeeet

Would be nice to have a 5 speed automatic and stability control.
Optional navigation system would compliment the nicely laid out dash.
HID lights as an option.

If they put all those options in the F150 they would'nt be able to move the lincoln trucks.

I always thought I would like the + ... - shifters, but my ls lincoln has it and I hardly ever use it. It does a great job shifting itself so I don't mess with it.

I would like to see the following options available:

1. Side curtain airbags
2. HID's
3. Nav system
4. Integrated XM/Sirius radio
5. Anti skid system
6. Full time AWD option along with old school 4x4
7. 5 speed auto trans or CVT

It's a spring loaded bar in the tailgate that makes it much easier to open and close.

that would be good. In my FX4 if i shift into 2nd manually it has a controled power out put. Has no uummpp at all shift back to drive and there she goes in second. Seems it has a control for a second gear manual shift. Bullitt haven't you opened you tailgate and felt how light it feels compared to the 03 models. I can lift it with one finger. Great devise they have there.
