Me & Airaid ~vs~ The Dealer
Geta load of this.....
Yesterday (Monday) morning my engine light came on. Later that day I turned on my AC and nothing....no cold air. Well....I take my truck to the dealer this morning and explain what happened. No prob sez the dealer, see ya at noon. So I call at noon and I'm told my truck is not ready....they still can't get the light to go off and it was due to the fact that I installed "that air thing"!!!
Well.....during that time I contacted Airaid and spoke with a tech and was told to disconnect my battery for an hour or so and that should clear the light prob up. I read some threads here that referenced the same thing.
Anyway to make it short I was told by the dealer to bring him a stock truck tomorrow and he would fix my problem. And that my AC problem was due to "that air thing".
Well....I got my stock baffles back on and can't wait for tomorrow morning
BTW....Airaid techs had a good laugh about the AC / "air thing". They advised to put it back to stock, get AC fixed, then put the intake back on and find a new dealer for the future.
Any feedback would be appreciated............

You have to watch how you insert the MAS on the side of the air-intake tube. You must use the AIRAID screws they send in the packaging not the ones off the stock system on the MAS.
I had the same problem with the OCM light coming on and I took the negative battery cable off for 30 minutes the light has not came back on since that time.
Also you must make sure that the Air-intake tube is fully seated on the throttle body all the way down that will cause the light to come on as well.

You definitely have to find another Ford dealership, one that will work with you not against you.

Well.....the saga continues............
Got it to the dealer at 7:30AM....got a call at 4:45PM....still not fixed!! NO A/C....
I would have to type a novel to let you guys know all the BS I heard from them thru-out the day!
In fact, I had to pull rank to get a loaner truck to drive!! I just keep telling myself....new dealer, new dealer, etc.
until the next chapter......
