Q. for Ex-Lightning owners

Have you guys been able to get used to the hard seats ?
I have been contemplating trading in my 2001 L for a new 2005 supercab lariat, but honestly the seats are a real disappointment.....seem short and hard.
I remember reading that some guys got used to the seats while others did not.
If the 05 had the Lightning-Seat-Comfort, I would have no problem making the change......now I am contemplating trying other brands

RP93

PS Sorry double-post, but could not delete from L . section

They will soften up quickly. We have a 2004 Aviator and the seats were hard in that to start. After a couple of weeks, they soften up quite a bit. They haven't gotten any softer since.

never sat in a L before, but I was concerned that the seats in my 04 didnt look all that comfortable. But I have put 7000 miles on it in just over a month, and have never been uncomfortable.
