grease driveshaft question

I want to put some grease for my driveshafts (and u joints) before the Winter comes.

I have read TSB and few posted about clunk noise due to not enuff grease.. so i dont have that problem w/ my truck 04 FX4 screw but just want to be worry-free and know that the grease is there in it.

ok, my question...where is the zerk or hole to put nozzle into u joint or driveshaft before pump grease into it?

thanks!

They don't have any. Ford's OE u-joints have been the "permanently" greased type for years. The TSB is for the slip yoke, not the u-joints.

The slip yoke is what slides in and out on the transmission spline shaft. You have to remove the drive shaft to grease it.
Personally at this stage if you have the problem, I would let the dealer do it.

and if you don't have the problem, don't mess with it.
