What I love from TITAN

I don't want to troll anything but I like a feature of the TITAN over our F150

They don't have ashtrays!

I think everithing is better than an ashtray as i'm a not smoker.

I think a small box but a little larger than an ashtray for keep little thinks as a GPS a celular or something at hand without lost it in the center console.

the same apply to the rear seat! if I remember it also have a ashtray.

The ashtrays at nissan are OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT! you can order yours for something like US$12.00 Incredible how change the times !

Uhhhh... a huge variety of cars and SUVs have done this for years. It's hardly a new feature.

I'd venture to guess if you look at the demographics a good portion of truckers are smokers. Unless of course, you buy a girly Titan, live in so-cal (where most owners appear to be) and are a health-****.

My 99 Mustang GT and My 2002 Expy had the Smokers option available. If you got it your recived an ashtray that sat in one of the front cup holders. I remeber is was somewhere around $12 - $15 for the option.

I've felt that ashtrays are a waste of space since I was old enough to drive because every person I see that smokes just throws their butts out the window anyway.

Sad, but true.

Ever see a street drainage collection tray? Its f'n disgusting the amount of cigarette butts that get filtered out. ;-(

Bullit, it's not a matter of save 12 bucks it's an utility space concern.

Why not use this space more intelligent? This space can be used for anithing but an ashtray.

First of all,I don't smoke.
With that said, I agree with dzervit about the demographics thing. most people you see with a nice pickup smoke. If I got in a pinch, and the neighbor down the street wanted to buy my truck, the neighbor that also smokes, no ash tray could be a problem. the 2 or 3 cubic inches for an ashtray to me is very intellegent use of space....Kevin

If you pull the ash holder itself out of the ashtray door thingy (can't think of anything better to call it), you can put a cel phone in there. If you're cel phone won't fit, trade it in for a Nokia 2100 or 3100...they fit nicely.

If we ever meet, maybe I'll buy you a couple beers to make you feel better about that $12 hit you took on your truck.

Michael, may I give my address in order to UPS the six?

I'm going to pull the ash holder and check if I have more room, I never pull before.

It pops right out and makes a nice little storage spot.

I don't think the lack of ashtray is a nice thing. They still zing you $12 if you want it.

Basically, they de-contented the truck and expect you to pay what most consider to be a basic feature (like a speedometer)

99% of the people I know (smokers or non) use this as a change tray. Without this, where do people put their change? Please dont say the coin holders as they do not hold pennies in Canada (the 4th spot is for dollar coins) and there is a finite amount of room in those. I know my ashtray will hold over $100 in a combination of quarters, dollar coins and 2 dollar coins. The ashtray in my 98 F150 held even more than that.
