I have been looking for cheaper good ford molded spash guard and couldnt find it on e bay.com under $30 or 40.

I wonder where did you guys find darn cheaper ??

My local dealer want $95 PLUS TAX for a set 4 .

I paid $51 for all four from my dealer. That's about cost.

 

Was that $95 installed?

Two dealers in CT had them for $69 plus labor. I got them from the one who gave me a 10% discount and did it myself in 30 minutes.

 

I paid under $60 for mine from the dealership.

I also had to cut the front part of the plastic running board to make the 2 front guards fit.

I got the set of 4 from my local dealer for $67 including tax. Installed them myself in under an hour.

 

Damn, good price...no, its not included installion! yikes..i guess i ll try different dealership or order thru online..

Dealer cost for the molded mub flaps is about $49.00. So anywhere around that price is a good deal!!

 

I have some idea how much they cost because a order a set along with several other items from my dealer. I got the part numbers off the Ford accessory web site and "fat fingered" it when placing my order. So I ended up with a set for a 4 x 2 flareside instead of a styleside. The dealer would not let me return since it was a special order item but did sell me the right set for cost.

If anyone is interested I have the flareside set p.n. 4L3Z-16A550-GAA available. I would sell them for cost plus shipping. E-mail me or reply if interested.

 

I just picked up my '05 Lariat SCREW 4x4 on Tuesday. When I was in signing the paperwork, a guy came in to try and sell me accessories.

He tried to sell me the set of 4 splash guards for $299 !!! No joke!

 

Between $50 and $60 is a fair price.

A 10 year old could install them, don't pay someone to do it.

Installed my set last night. What a piece of cake. I did not have to remove the tires as indicated on the Ford instructions and used an "adjustable" metric wrench since I didn't have a 5.5 mm socket.

The only extra thing that I had to do besides unbolt and remove the wheel lip molding was to open up the existing hole for the bottom fastener of the splash guard.

Had all four installed in less than 45 min.

All holes lined up which helped.

 

You had to remove the wheel lip molding?? Please explain - I wasn't aware of this step. I'm picking mine up tomorrow.
