I've searched the boards and found that some people were having problems fitting step bars with their Ford molded splash guards and others have not had a problem.

I have an 04 Regular Cab with the molded splash guards and was wanting to order a set of the 5" Ford chrome step bars. Does anyone know if these step bars will interfere with my molded splash guards on a Regular Cab?

I have the black 5" tube steps on my '04 Reg Cab along with the Ford molded splash guards. It all fits together just fine, with about one inch of clearance between the two.

I believe the problem is with the running boards, not the step bars.
