Rear sliding window leaks, ac blows cool but def. not cold, ever...tail gate anchors are different sizes, press the gas sometimes and it doesnt go anywhere then the tranny slams into gear. thats it for now...oh yea...i've put only 1500mi on it.

yep my slider leaks. and i had that hesitation till i got the superchips tuner.

 

update on my 04 STX purchased in Oct 2003 w/ 16k miles on it now. Problems started around 7,000 miles. Excessive tire wear on outer edges of front tires. Toe/camber? was off and dealer corrected it. 10k miles noticed the brake rotors were very deeply gouged. Dealer resurfaced rotors. Also was hearing a wind noise in cab(reg cab) for the longest time from passenger side but couldn't detect where it was coming from. Until I found out you can peel off the quarter windos by hand because there's no hardware holding them on, only black adhesive putty! Dealer replaced both rear side windows. The only other thing is an annoying jingling noise coming from(I believe) the heat sheilds loosely band strapped around the exhaust. Dealer, of course said they didn't notice any noise. Other than that, everything's great!

 

Do you guys have the auto sliding rear window? Any reason why its leaking? Thanks!

 

I have what is called cupping on my front tires. This is caused by shocks mainly from my past experience. they allways say rotate but all that does is wear all four tires evenly. I am not a rotater LOL funny huh. I have put many miles on vehicles and never had uveven wear in tires. My 99 only was rotated a couple times at 60 k put on new tires. My 03 had 17k and never rotated them why would my 04 FX4 be cupping in the front only ? Cause shocks not holding tire to the ground . My wifes 03 Escape is well over 20k on tires and they are fine and we don't rotate them. My friend at work with a 350 Duelly has over 20k, his tires are well cupped . A real meachanic found that the oil didn't leak out but the gas was gone thus allowing bounce in the tire's. He said you could push his shock down with one hand.Oil doesn't have to leak to be a bad shock only the gas thru a real small hole . Gas is pressurized and it escape's faster then oil.

sorry to hear about your problems. i have had no problems so far after 4 months.
i grew up in new lenox (now i live up near antioch) my brother still lives there (near lincolnway high school). he just bought a white 2004 screw XLT, after riding in mine. i'm going fishing with him this weekend, have to see if he has had any issues.
