Dealer Finds Vibe

I called my dealership today and they confirmed that their "specialist" had felt my vibration. I asked what was the cause and I was told that they were going to try a road force balance and go from there. I've decided to take action, legal or DSB, if they try the dampener. A band-aid fix for rotating parts is not adequate in my book. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks

Jansen

Come on Dzervit
Some people come to this board for help and information with their truck problems. We all spent a lot of money with Ford Motor Company to buy a new truck. You have to read the good with the bad postings. Yes I'm one of the posters that beat the vibration topic to death. I used some of the information here to win my dispute and the DSB made Ford buy back my vibrating truck.
Jansen_l do a search for vibration, driveline vibration, dispute settlement board or DSB to get more information. Good Luck

Some people come to this board and post away w/o using the search button that would reveal pages upon pages of usefull info...

I'm just encouraging a new guy to use the handy tool, he'll get info MUCH faster than another thread on this topic.

I'm just starting the DSB process now. I went through all the steps and sometimes twice with the TSB. My patience has been worn out with this issue so I elected to persue the DSB option for obtaining a complete "buy back". It didn't help that the Regional Manager basically told me to pound sand and there was nothing more they would do. My truck according to them is acceptable. BS!

jansen_l, I feel you pain bro. This will be my 4th time in for the vibe. This time they are going to replace the rearend. My vibe seems to be getting worse. Hope that the rearend fixes the problem. Virginia lemon law states that they have 3 times in 18 months to fix it. If this dont fix the problem, I will have to consult my lawyer, My Wife!

SAME HERE, WAITING ON A NEW REAR END, BOTH THE SERVICE MANANGER AND MY SELF ARE SKEPTICLE THAT IT WILL FIX IT. JUST CALLED THE DSB TO GET MY FORMS YESTERDAY. IT WILL BE MY 5TH TIME AND 6 MONTHS OF WAITING FOR PARTS AND FIXES FOR MY VIBE PROBLEM. GOING THE DSB ROUTE IF IT IS NOT FIXED THIS TIME.

JUST A THOUGHT, IF FORD WOULD GET OFF THERE BUTT AND FIND A REAL FIX FOR THIS. THIS SUBJECT WOULD NOT GET BEAT TO DEATH ANYMORE.

How far does it have to go before someone files a class action lawsuit against Ford?
