Sounds like a pain in the **** to me. I have a rattle somewhere like your describing, but haven't taken the time to investigate. I took everything under the seats out and thought that was it. I thought I heard it once after that, but don't really know. I have to wait till I get it back from the dealer to survey the situation again.
Why'd they have to make these things so quiet inside?

I had to fix this myself on my truck. If you have a sunroof its really easy. If you have the sunroof, take the molding off that goes around the opening and reach in through there. There is a big foam block made into the headliner that rests against a crossbrace on the roof. You need to secure the foam block to the crossbrace either with double sided tape, or better yet, epoxy. If this is what it rattling, you should also notice it being quieter when you shut your doors from the inside after you fix it.
So the foam block isn't currently secured to anything right now? This does sound like this is the problem. Someone else in another thread said to take out the center light and add more foam. What an annoying sound it is. Drove me nuts when I couldn't figure out what it was.
