they don't make the through glass antennae any more. When I ran my wire through the brake light, I wrapped the wire around the light and only went under the seal on the middle of the bottom; I wouldn't go straight through on the top side of the seal. The seal is not at the very edge of the light, there is a lip that will cover the wire until you go through the seal.
