It "WAS" the only one until the Air Force 1 was proven to be safe.
I have one of the R&D units on my truck right now. Troyer has released the AF1 for the 5.4 3 valve for sale..Better get you one because they are everything we expected them to be....

This is one of those ford vs chevy kind of things where you only hear the good from one company, what about K&N, MAC, Volant, AirRaid, JLT etc...

An intake is an intake, everyone is sucking from the stock location, some with boxes, some with heatshields, some with none.

Another thing troyer has all this HP claims where is the dyno sheets to back this? Because i see none, all there is talk.

Mike Troyer does R&D on an intake for over a year, to make sure it operates safely on the new 3-valve engines, and you slam him? Buy something else then

Well here goes!

I do NOT really care who trashes this one that one or anyone!

In my mind, if someone (Mike Troyer) takes a year or so to R&D the AF1 to ensure it's safety and excellent performance then it must be worth the wait.

I am a patient man and have been waiting for this along time. I want only the BEST for BlkButy. I will most definitely be sporting the sweet looking Stainless AF1 (Yes even the Powder Blue Filter - LOL) when the funds become available - well released from the boss (wife) LOL!

All I can say is that each Intake on the market has it's place - I myself prefer the Stainless look! To each their own.

Great work Mr. Troyer and Team!

Not all intakes are the same sorry..

AF1 has made the most HP gains so why wouldn't you buy it? I mean your already spending all that money why not just spend a little more and get more out of your truck!

Very well put. I pointed out that I didn't care for the blue filter in another thread, but that's my opinion. Nothing more.
Good luck loosening the bosses purse strings...Kevin

That's his stance jpdadeo...

He continously waltzes into a thread, thrashes it, and bolts. He does it ALL THE TIME. You'd be hard pressed to search back through his posts and find ANYTHING positive about ANYTHING that he's responded to...

Everyone's entitled to an opinion... it's just VERY annoying when it's the same racket over and over.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Never thought this day would come!

I was given the option of:

1) AF1 Air Intake

or

2) Building a deck in the back yard so we as a family can enjoy it.

Well, even though I love my truck dearly - my 20 month old son and wife comes first. I will hold off until Father's day for the AF1.

Sometimes we MUST do what we MUST do and I guess this is one of those times!

LOL!

No one said JLT's was out on the market (you can read, congrats) and a dyno sheet is better than a meer "this mod adds 25hp

And no one has yet to post a dyno of the AF1 on a 3v...
