Automatic headlight sensitivity

As there does not appear to be an adjustment, does anyone have the wiring schematic, or at least know the colors of the wires from the sensor (they are bundled with the blinking led)?

I'm thinking that a resistor in parallel with the photosensor should do it...

Prolly a threashold setting in the main program of the vehicle.

I was wondering the same thing, my lights seem to turn on/off much more frequently around dusk than any of my past vehicles with this feature. Oh well, I'm not the one getting blinded..

Mine come on way to early, so I'd like to adjust the sensitivity so that they don't come on until much darker.

To do that, I need to know which wires in the harness are for the light sensor, and which ones are for the blinking led.

Anyone?

That is interesting. Because I think mine don't turn on soon enough.

I haven’t noticed any difference in the way mine operate compared to other vehicles I’ve owned. They appear to come on at dusk or if it is heavily overcast. I would give my autolamp system the

I too wondered this, since my truck seems way to sensitive. When I asked the Dealer at a visit, they looked it up in their database, and it is something that is set within the computer somewhere ( I think he said the security system/keyless entry, but it was a while ago) Unlike the earlier 08-03 models there is no sensitivity setting in the dash via a pot or adjustment screw.

Thus, I was told there is no way to change it.
