My 2 week old FX4 Black Scab has a 1/2dime size area where the paint has peeled off on the hood. I am thinkin about not messin with having it repainted and just getting a different hood with a scoop or two....is there any companies out there making one for the 04? Has anyone actually done this mod yet? I think it would look sick on the new body style.......it sure looks awesome on the chevy's....

--on a side note I pulled up next to a black FX4 just like mine tonight with a flowmaster 40 series cat back kit...sounded really mean...yet not too loud...I think im gunna have to go with a flowmaster kit!

 

i imagine roush will offer the hoodscoop they offer on the tejon when it is released if its not available already. Its a mean looking scoop in my opinion.

 

The Roush scoop is pretty mean looking, but it's not functional, which to me makes it cheesy.

IMO if you are going to go that route, look into the fiberglass function ram air hoods. They look great, offer a couple of styles, light weight, and most importantly they are functional. I think they run for about $1500 painted.
