Cabela's Trailgear floormats (Extreme)

Anyone tried the Cabela's TrailGear floormats? http://www.cabelas.com/products/Cpod0025709.jsp

They look like they cover more of the floor area than the Husly mats and the Cabelas rep said they are much heavier. The Extreme mats are the same as the Cabela's (Extremem makes them for Cabela's) I'm ready to order a set..

yep, look the same as the Nifty catch-all Extremes. I have the Nifty's, they work great. Buy whatever is cheapest. I got my front and rear mats for $131 shipped from this place:

Looks like I'm a step late as you've ordered them...

And you'll probably love them but, my boss has them in his 03 Tahoe and not only hates the mats but hates the plastic company that made the plastic to make them.

I ride with him alot to and from meetings with clients and there's rarely a trip that goes by that he doesn't talk them down. It seems they secure with 'screws' of sorts that go down into the carpet. He indicated that he couldn't get them to work right and further swears he's going to send them back (although, he hasn't after almost a year now).

Just another perspective.

Thanks..that's interesting. I buy a lot of stuff from Cabela's not only due to their great customer service, but also cuz you can send stuff back 10 years later and get a full refund....on almost anything...

Very true... and who knows, you may love them. I was just conveying another perspective from someone who's opinion I trust. Heck man, I hope you really like them...

i'm thinking about getting a set of cabela's trailgear floor mats for my supercrew. however, i was looking at their website and for the front mats it says "F-150 w/o floor shift w/wo console"

link

i assume this means "f-150 without floor shifter, with or without console shifter."

does this mean they don't make front mats for the f-150 with the floor shifter? or does the same mat fit both the floor shifter model and column shifter model?

biggziff: what mats did you buy and does your truck have the floor shifter or column shifter?

Same Pickle...

I have the flow-through and called Nifty, who makes the mats, about this. I was told they do not make a mat specifically made for our interior.

That being said, the ones they do sell may/ may not fit. If anyone would like to dis/prove this fact, please chime in. Pictures are always nice.

I have had the Nifty's catchall extremes in my larieat with the flow through center console for over a year now and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I don't even use the screw thing that goes into the carpet and they stay put fine. I'm sure the cabela's ones are exactly the same and I have heard nothing but praise for the husky's as well. My mats came from www.premiermotoring.net
